One of Montreal’s finest

Montreal’s own Joey Elias began performing comedy in 1992 after losing a pool hall bet to a friend. His loss was the comedy world’s gain. Since his humble beginnings on amateur night, Joey has performed at several just for laughs and has established himself as one of Montreal’s biggest talents. From stage to screen, Joey has appeared in several roles including “The Wool Cap” with William H. Macy and “The Day After Tomorrow” with Dennis Quaid. His latest project is his first DVD entitled “Douchebag!” with partial proceeds of all sales going to his very own charity that he started in 2006.

What’s so funny?

We all know Montréalers love to laugh, so what’s new out their in the comedy world. If your looking for a good laugh you don’t have to search long to find one. The best place to find some great comedians doing what they do best is probably www.youtube.com. You tube has some of the funniest videos around and many have go viral for the world to see. Here are a couple of sample videos of some comedians you might recognize: I warn you that you will laugh very hard and that their material sometimes is a little controversial
